ASSURANCE LEVEL ARCHITECTURE + CVQF

Sherpa Cognitive Verification Method | Measurement System Integration

ALAssurance Level. Structural layers of verification and assurance, from frontline application through system audit.
CVQFCognitive Verification Quality Framework. Four indicators measuring conversation quality without adding frontline paperwork.
WMTI"Walk Me Through It." Primary verification prompt forcing narrative, not yes/no.
COVCognitive Ownership Verification. Worker language quality: ownership vs. obedience vs. generic.
LFALeadership Focus Assessment. Did leadership ask about thinking or paperwork first?
PAMPredictive Accuracy Measure. "What surprised us?" Declining surprise rate = better pre-task conversations.
IVCInvestigation Verification Check. Was cognitive verification present before the incident?
VLEVisible Leadership Engagement. Management goes to the work. Documented. Verified at AL-2.
ABCDAssess, Build, Coach, Demonstrate. Recursive implementation framework.
SPACStandards, Policies, and Administrative Controls. Must exist before verification adds value.
RACIResponsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed. Standard framework for clarifying ownership.

Cognitive verification installs inside existing operational workflows, not beside them. Each assurance level carries a specific CVQF indicator based on who is performing the work at that level. VLE runs as a separate leadership behavior track with its own verification path through AL-2.

Data Flow

PAM data flows from AL-1 to AL-2
VLE records flow to AL-2 for cross-reference
COV/LFA scores + hazards flow from AL-2 to AL-3
IVC pattern data feeds AL-3 from investigations
Corrective actions flow DOWN from AL-2 to AL-1 and VLE
AL-3 recalibration flows DOWN to AL-2
AL-5 triggers recursive ABCD back to AL-0
AL-4 consumes all CVQF data for system audit

Four indicators. Zero frontline documentation burden. All measurement sits with leadership and support functions.

The Closed Loop

Supervisors cannot fake conversations because COV catches worker language quality. Managers cannot fake visits because AL-2 cross-references VLE records against worker memory. AL-2 observers cannot fake verification because AL-3 pulls their scores and checks corrective action closure. The system has teeth at every altitude.

Each assurance level has a defined purpose, a CVQF indicator assignment, and a connection to the ABCD implementation framework.
